RACISM. GET UP. SPEAK OUT.
The City of Greater Dandenong

The City of Greater Dandenong commissioned me to create five short films dealing with racism in the community. As these films are being shown both online and on a city square public screen, each film was designed to be a very short and engaging story to retain the attention of passers by. The approach was to make micro documentaries that tackle ethnic stereotypes head on. This project was launched in November 2013.

The films screened at Atillery Film Festival, Youth Humanitarian Festival, Colourfest and won the National Award for Local Government in the Multicultural Australia category. They continue to be screened on rotation on the open air screen at the Dandenong public square.
